Colton and Megan’s big day had finally arrived, and they were both beaming with excitement, their hearts full of joy as they prepared to tie the knot. The weather was absolutely gorgeous—clear skies, a gentle breeze, and just a touch warmer than typical for October, which only seemed to add to the cheerful atmosphere. AlesiaKim and Co. was beyond thrilled to be there, ready to capture every heartfelt glance, every laugh, and every tear of happiness, all while catching up with familiar faces and friends we hadn’t seen in a while. The venue itself was alive with energy, buzzing with the love and support of family and friends who had come from near and far, all gathered to witness this beautiful couple say their “I dos” and begin their new chapter together.

We were all set for the first look, and with the sun shining bright and the October warmth in full effect, we decided to take a little escape under part of the building to keep cool. The space was a bit snug, but sometimes the coziest spots turn out to be the most magical—and this one was no exception. Colton stood patiently, anticipation written all over his face as he waited for Megan to be ready. When she finally stepped out, her excitement practically radiating from every smile and sparkle in her eyes, Colton’s face lit up in a huge, joyful grin. In that perfect moment, everything else faded away—the noise, the heat, the hustle of the day—and he realized with pure happiness that he was about to marry not just the love of his life, but his very best friend. It was a first look full of laughter, emotion, and the kind of magic that makes wedding days unforgettable.

The ceremony was everything anyone could hope for and more. The small church auditorium was beautifully filled with friends and family, all eager and excited to witness Colton and Megan exchange their vows. Christ was at the very center of their ceremony, which perfectly reflected the heart of the couple and the foundation of their love. They sang worship songs together, lifting their voices in joy and praise, and made a heartfelt commitment to honor Christ not just on this special day but every day of their lives, as they built their future together.

Once the ceremony concluded, and after taking countless cherished family photos that captured generations of love, we moved on to the reception. The excitement in the room was palpable—everyone was eager to celebrate, to laugh, and to share stories with the newlyweds. Guests offered congratulations, hugs, and well-wishes, creating an atmosphere full of warmth and love. The day was rich with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and treasured moments, and every person in attendance seemed to soak in the joy of celebrating Colton and Megan’s love, making it a reception to remember for years to come.

Since we had fallen a little behind schedule before the ceremony, we made it a point to take some extra time after the “I dos” to capture a few truly special couple portraits. Colton and Megan happily obliged, fully immersing themselves in the moment and soaking in the joy of being newly married. There was something magical about seeing them together—the laughter, the stolen glances, and the quiet, tender moments that made it clear how perfectly they fit together.
