Mr. & Mrs. West
Blake and Callie are a precious couple! Not only are they too cute, but they're also just so happy when they're together. Blake and Callie met through softball so it's an important sport for them. When Blake proposed, Callie had no clue it was coming!
Their day started off with getting ready with family and friends. The clouds threatened rain, but it wasn't going to "rain on their parade." Callie was a tad nervous about the rain but BreAnne, my associate photographer, showed up to the wedding with a smile to calm nerves and ready to photograph each special moment of their day.

Everything was ready. Blake and Callie chose to wait for their first look to be when Callie walked down the aisle. The bridal party walked down the aisle as usual, but Blake and Callie had a special surprise for their guests. Instead of a flower girl, they opted for Callie's brother to be their "flower man" in a suit and a "beer belt". He came dancing down the aisle and handed out cold beers. Everyone thought it was too funny and their guests loved it!

Blake waited in silent anticipation to see his bride. The curtains moved and there she was, his sweet, smiley Callie. They pledged their lives to each other and were married while friends and family watched. The clouds moved out and the wedding went down without a hitch! It was south Louisiana, July wedding, barn perfection!

When I first talked to Callie, I asked her what the "must have" photo was for her. She told me a few different things but one of them was Blake's face when he saw her and he definitely (even though he didn't know) delivered perfectly! His face beamed with excitement, pride, and love for his beautiful bride walking toward him. Callie was a dream!

Callie
Callie has one of the most contagious smiles you will EVER see. She is sweet, kind, caring, and a carefree spirit. When I met Callie, it was so obvious to me why Blake loves her. She is the epitome of cute with a side of fun! I'm so glad softball brought these two together!

Blake
Blake is kind and mature. He is a history teacher and coaches softball so he has a bit of a competitive spirit. More than anything, I believe Blake, as a whole, truly loves Callie which is so obvious by his words and actions. He is there to hear Callie and is conscientious of her wants and needs. He is there to comfort and guide her and loves her unconditionally.

Reception
Blake and Callie's wedding reception was spent eating yummy food and enjoying the company of friends and family that love them. You could tell the joy on their faces that they were happy to be married and ecstatic to be one another's.
