Andrew and Madison came to know each other even though they lives hundreds of miles apart. He lived in Louisiana and she lived in Kentucky, but they met through a mutual friend. As they got to know each other, they realized that they had so much in common and just loved being together. A little while later, Andrew proposed in a gazebo after a boat ride in Morgan City. Of course, Madison said, "Yes!"

Starting the day

When I arrived, everyone was excitedly getting ready. Maddie was almost done with her hair and makeup and the whole place was just relaxing. Each of the bridesmaids were almost ready and the day was truly beginning. We went outside and got some beautiful photographs of the bridesmaids. After that, we made our way to where the groom and groomsmen were getting ready and got some great photographs there.

Ceremony

The ceremony was so sweet! Andrew was so happy to see Maddie walk down the aisle. Before the ceremony, Maddie and the priest let me know the first kiss was going to be a bit different. Andrew and Maddie were planning to wait until after the ceremony and do their first kiss as husband and wife with their bridal party in the background in natural lighting. Therefore, after they exchanged vows and rings and were announced as Mr. & Mrs. Gunn, everyone walked outside and enjoyed watching the first kiss with those closest to them close. It was such a sweet moment and a wonderful idea!

Reception

Andrew and Maddie arrived to the reception about the same time as I did. They walked in after their amazing bridal party and began the traditional dances. Everyone was just so happy for them. Maddie was excited to change into her reception dress. After a little while, we stepped outside to get some extra outside shots. They turned out so cute and Maddie and Andrew were all smiles!
