1 The White Magnolia
Kentwood, LA
First up is "The White Magnolia" in the rolling hills of Kentwood, LA. About 30 minutes from the town of Hammond, Louisiana, and McComb, MS, The White Magnolia is built on a beautiful, 110-acre horse and cattle farm. The venue boasts a light, airy, stained wood interior, pale exterior colors, and a perfectly manicured outdoor setting. An indoor or outdoor open-air chapel are an option at this venue. It also has two getting-ready rooms so that you have room for yourself and your entire bridal party.

2 Nottoway Plantation
Situated in White Castle, LA just over 30 minutes from Baton Rouge, Nottoway Plantation has architecture and beauty like no other. With indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, the property has so many picturesque spots along with the beautiful main house that includes a gorgeous "White Room" that is bridal photo perfection! Nottoway is a venue you and your guests are sure to be in awe over.

3 The Hilton Hotel in Downtown Baton Rouge
Located in the heart of Baton Rouge, the Hilton Hotel is an amazing place for a wedding. They have rooms available for getting ready, conference rooms for the ceremony, as well as large rooms for the reception. Everything is first-class and gorgeous!
Pros: Beautiful, city location
In Baton Rouge itself
Large dancing and reception area
Beautiful area for outdoor balcony photos
Sunset photos on the levee possibly available
Cons: Guests from the hotel are present in the lobby and other common areas
Parking for guests can sometimes be difficult
After the reception, guests must walk in Baton Rouge late at night to find their vehicles
4 Greystone Golf and Country Club
Located in Denham Springs, Greystone is a local favorite for weddings! It boasts of gorgeous grounds as well as perfect indoor locations for receptions.

Cons: Public place so random people may come and go in the common areas

5 The Greenery
Near "The White Magnolia" is the Greenery which is part of Liuzza Farms that includes not only "The Greenery" venue but also its sister venue, "The Berry Barn." Both are across the street from each other and are nestled on a 500-acre produce farm in the city of Amite, LA. With a perfect light and airy feel, this venue is perfect for the bride looking for a natural/floral vibe.
Pros: Beautiful, intimate location

Cons: Longer drive for some
The Berry Barn is next door and sometimes outside after the ceremony, their music and guests can be seen and heard.
Some of the seating is separate from the dancing area which could be a pro or a con for some.

6 The Shaw Center - River Terrace
The Shaw Center is located in downtown Baton Rouge and has an amazing rooftop option for the ceremony. It's designed for a smaller crowd but is also sure to impress!

Outdoor location
Hotels within walking distance for getting ready
Pretty downtown photo locations nearby
Cons: Smaller more intimate rooftop weddings are really the vibe. (That could be a pro or a con for some.)

7 Houmas House
Houmas House is a historic and beautiful place. The grounds are just gorgeous and there are locations for everything you would need as a bride there.

There are so many venues to choose from and each one of them offers something special and unique. Our personal favorite to photograph is "The White Magnolia."
