Jordan and Kayla's June Wedding

Their wedding day was full of some good and some not-so-good surprises yet everything was just wonderful! Jordan and Kayla rolled with the "punches" beautifully! When I arrived, the girls were working on getting their hair and makeup done as usual. Kayla was calm and just excited for the day to finally be there. It was here. The day she had dreamed of for so long.

Before the Ceremony

Just before the ceremony, the clouds threatened rain. In spite of that, Kayla was determined to have her outside wedding. Minutes before the ceremony, the rain started. It wasn't just a sprinkle either. Kayla held on to her "faith" in it clearing up as the venue set up for "Plan B" just in case. The decision was made to implement a "rain delay" since Louisiana has a rain shower almost every afternoon. Kayla was right. The rain stopped just long enough for us to do the ceremony and a few bride and groom shots. At that point, the wind was blowing some, the rain had cooled everything off, and it was gorgeous.

Reception

Jordan and Kayla's reception was so refreshing! They had an amazing playlist and were just having a wonderful time being with family and friends. Their cake was something else as well! They combined the bride's cake and groom's cake into one large cake with a special spot for the groom on the back. It was absolutely stunning! Clark's Cakes and Confections did an incredible job with creating it as well as the taste as always!

Kayla + Jordan

Kayla is a tenderhearted person. She is caring and understanding. She is amazing at going with the flow. Kayla made a beautiful bride. Jordan, on the other hand, is so kind as well. He is ready to make people laugh and loves to laugh with them. Their day was so "them!" I'm so thankful we were able to capture such special memories for such a precious couple!
