Getting Ready Locations

Make sure there is a lot of natural lighting (window light) in the rooms where the bride, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and groom will be getting ready. Try to have all the details together to help that go faster. If possible, keep the area near the window free of clutter, trash bags, and snacks. As much as I love Dasani water, it doesn't look great in a bridal photo! ;)

Wedding Day details with wedding ring

Don't wear a bra the morning of your wedding day. ;)

Let's face it. Every night when we go to take off our bra, we have "bra marks." Those are very visible in photos. Instead, don't wear a bra that morning or go with another option that won't be visible when your wedding dress is on.

Consider Lighting

Lighting can make or break your wedding photos, so make sure you plan your wedding around that. Your photos will look SO much better when you keep that in mind when looking at starting times, ending times, and couple portraits. Of course, photos can be taken in practically ANY lighting but those "WOW!" photos are taken 1-2 hours before sunset. You don't want the sun glaring in your face in the middle of the ceremony.... for you OR the photographer!

Be mindful of the timeline.

Every bride of mine receives a timeline. This timeline has been made from trial, error, and experience of so many other weddings. Great pictures take some extra time to get EVERY little thing correct so try to be as conscientious of the time as possible. Plenty of time is given to each "category" as long as we continue to be prompt. Your photographer will definitely be able to help you out with this! ;)

It's YOU and YOUR FIANCÉS day!

At the end of the day, literally, your wedding day is about you and your man! (And most guys aren't into details. ;)) Ultimately, everything is up to you and even though pleasing everyone sounds pleasant and sweet in your head, not everyone will ever be pleased. Try to remember that when planning and on your actual day. This is one of the best days of your life! Don't spoil it stressing about other people and their opinions. (We all have them. haha) It's going to be an amazing day!
