Although they celebrated with family and friends during a beautiful reception the day after, they chose to make their marriage official during an intimate Catholic ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church near LSU in Baton Rouge the day before the reception.
Christ the King Catholic Church wasn't just another beautiful venue for Jake and Sarah—it was part of their family's story.
Years ago, Sarah's parents exchanged their vows in this very same church, making it an incredibly meaningful place for the next generation to begin their own marriage. Standing where her parents once stood added a beautiful layer of legacy and faith to an already emotional ceremony.

Louisiana in June definitely brought the heat, but you would never know it from looking at these two. They were incredibly patient, kind, and completely focused on enjoying the moment together.
