Preston & Lauren | A Full-Circle Wedding at Judson Baptist Church & Serenity Events


Some wedding days are special because of the couple. Others are special because of the history behind how you came to be there. Preston and Lauren's wedding day was both.

Years ago, my mom and Lauren's mom worked together. Later, I had the opportunity to photograph Lauren's senior portraits. Fast forward a few years, and Lauren reached out to me to photograph and film one of the biggest milestones of her life—her wedding day.

Talk about a full-circle moment.

It is such an honor when a family trusts you to document more than one chapter of their lives, and getting to be there for Lauren's senior pictures and then her wedding was incredibly special.

A Sweet Wedding Day in Watson, Louisiana


Preston and Lauren began their wedding day with their ceremony at Judson Baptist Church in Walker, Louisiana, surrounded by the people who love them most.

Their ceremony was followed by a reception at Serenity Events in Watson, Louisiana, where they celebrated their new marriage with family and friends.

The entire day felt incredibly sweet and genuine, which was a perfect reflection of Preston and Lauren themselves.

They are such a kind couple, and it was a joy to spend the day documenting the beginning of their marriage.

From Senior Pictures to Wedding Photography


One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to watch people's lives unfold.

Senior portraits can feel like such a major milestone at the time, and then suddenly, years later, you're photographing that same person walking down the aisle.

Being invited back into someone's life for another major milestone is something I never take for granted.

Lauren's wedding day was a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. Photography isn't just about creating beautiful images—it's about preserving the people and moments that make each season of life meaningful.

Preston and Lauren's wedding was a wonderful combination of meaningful moments, family, and celebration.

From their ceremony at Judson Baptist Church to their reception at Serenity Events, the day gave us so many opportunities to capture both the big moments and the little ones that made the day theirs.
