Some of my favorite wedding days are the ones that don't need a lot of fuss.

Kyle and Sarah celebrated their marriage with a small, intimate evening wedding at 22 Estates in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Their September wedding was intentionally simple, surrounded by the people closest to them and focused on what the day was really about—getting married and celebrating together.

An Intimate Evening at 22 Estates

22 Estates was such a beautiful setting for their wedding. The grounds gave us plenty of room to capture both the quiet moments and the celebration, and the evening light made everything feel even more romantic.

And because this was a September wedding in Louisiana, we have to acknowledge the obvious:


It was HOT. 😂


But Kyle and Sarah handled it like champs and didn't let the heat take away from their evening.

There's something really special about photographing a wedding this size. With fewer people and fewer distractions, there's more room to slow down and focus on the couple, their relationships, and the little moments happening throughout the day.

Kyle and Sarah's wedding was sweet, relaxed, and completely them.

I'm so grateful I got to be there to photograph it. 🤍
